A model of 250 acres development in Dhar district of an approximate of Rs 1,110 crore is being undertaken in terms of public- private partnership. It will include an inland depot of containers, rail terminal, large warehousing spaces, truck depot, fuel depot, retail facilities, and social facilities such as healthcare and skill development centres in the plant.
The Times of India also reported the project planners indicated that the park will not only be an aggregation point of freight but also a full-fledged ecosystem of logistics which will provide an opportunity to lower transit time and control costs of manufacturers in the entire Central India.
Also to the background by Projects Today, the surroundings of the park are introduced in terms of industrial clustering similar to that of Pithampur, and is noted to be strategic in the improvement of supply-chain relationships.
